How Our Pack Got Started
Cammi and Abby started Hartley Barkley’s Goodies in 2023 with a simple idea: make treats we felt good about giving our own furry family.
We started baking, and the tail wags, lip smacking, and occasional drool goober told us we were onto something. Now we share those goodies with your furry loved ones, too.
Based in Oregon, we handmake our biscuits and training treats in small batches, to order, using simple ingredients. All our treats are gluten-free, and most are grain-free. Our Blueberry Coconut biscuits are the exception, made with certified gluten-free oats.
Our own grass-fed beef jerky recipe is made for us in small batches by a commercial kitchen. It’s a favorite with both the canine crew and our feline supervisor.
Meet the Chief Tasting Officers
Hartley Redtail, Adventure Buddy & Sweet Potato Enthusiast
Hartley is a Border Collie/black Belgian Malinois mix with a big love for our Sweet Potato Cinnamon Training Bits. He’s always ready for a ride and, when there’s room in the truck, loves helping us set up for events.
His other passion? Squirrel surveillance. He’s even tried to follow one up a tree. We admire the ambition, if not the plan.
Tuesday Bluewater, Blueberry Inspector & Head of Couch Security
Tuesday is a Border Collie/Italian Greyhound mix who takes her responsibilities seriously: holding down the couch, guarding her favorite chair, and announcing every garbage truck and delivery driver.
Her favorite treats are our Blueberry Peanut Butter biscuits. Her love of blueberries runs so deep that we had to move our blueberry bushes out of reach. Apparently, “help yourself” was her understanding of the arrangement.
Sir Malibu Purrington, Feline Quality-Control Supervisor
Every good team needs a supervisor, and ours wears stripes.
Sir Malibu Purrington is a tabby cat who loves hopping onto shoulders and inspecting every new box that arrives. He’s overseeing quality control for our cat toys, coming soon, and has thoroughly approved our Grass-Fed Beef Pet Jerky. That’s why it’s dog and cat approved!
